This Saturday is record store day and I think everyone should hit up their local indy record shop and by a cd! The official website for the day is here.
They have a link to find all the participating locations so you can find the one near you. There are also a ton of great quotes from store owners to artists.
One of my favorites in the lot was the one above because it was really true for me. I remember the first time I went to Everybody's Records here in Cincinnati and
discovered there is a world of music that is going on that isn't the crap on local radio or classic rock.

I have always felt that Delta's presence in Cincinnati has been a really cool thing. How many cities of Cincinnati's size have the level of air service that
we have. I can go out to CVG and catch non-stop flights to just about anywhere domestically and several international destinations as well like London
and Paris. As long as the hub here stays strong and jobs aren't lost, I think this will be a really cool deal for the city. Go here for a full story.

with the lineup of acts for this summer but the highlight for me will be the Raconteurs show with the Black Lips.
